The heroism of animals

If you're a pet lover, here's a heroic but sad story from Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin... After a disabled woman's cat accidentally started a house fire, her specially trained dog came to the rescue, then died trying unsuccessfully to rescue the cat. Jamie Hanson said her 13-year-old dog Jesse brought her artificial leg and a phone she used to call 911. Jesse got her outside, then heard the cat upstairs and went up there to get him. Sadly, both pets died, but Jamie Hanson is alive today because of Jesse. LINK
